Zimmerman or Godet off the top of my head.

              neither of them!

It's in my mind an early Deumer, although some believe they were made by Grossmann.

Thanking you for your input folks,
looking at the numbers for the 1939, they seem thinner and slightly elongated because of this, compared with other crosses, and the pin fixing loop looks slight, not robust. Does this help for ID,
                thanks

The core looks Deumer-ish. Pin setup, of course, looks Zimmerman-ish. I'd go with early Deumer.

As some say it´s not Zimmer or Godet, i will also say maker "Maybe" 3, 11, or L/59. But any way it´s orginal

Here is a "marked" L/11 Deumer with same reverse:

                          Dear Darrell,

to not lead people into total confusion please take a further look at your EK1!

It is by no means a Deumer but a textbook Zimmermann/Godet. You can even see the L/52, L/50 mark below the hook!

                            Veeeery interesting

Looking at the Iron Cross reference site the numbers look very Grossman
(thin).with consensus moving to early Deumer. Thanks fro the discussion folks,
