Did Himmler make presentation awards of the Iron Cross as he did the AP badge? If so are they diffrent in any way than the run of the mill EK?
I have been told of a Shinkel type with his name on the back with a date, I don't think it was ingraved but stamped?

The Iron Cross was a National or State award. Himmler would have no special say in awarding it from himself.
