EK I - good or bad?

    Hello,

recently I have been offered to buy some WWI and WWII german awards. As awards is not my area of collection (I primarily collect photos) I would very much like to hear your opinion on the authenticity of this EKI.

    Thanks in advance,

    Øyvind

Here is the EKI + case

The cross is a genuine item. Nice set

Nice. Lots of character! What're the initials on the back? Any history on it?

It looks like an unmarked '100' (Rudolf Wachtler & Lange) to me but the catch looks different (more like S&L).

          Thanks for your comments

Hello and thanks for your comments guys!

Unfortunately I don´t have the history behind this EKI, it has the initial "E" only carved into the back. The case is a bit worn but still in good shape. As Hank says, it adds character.

Thanks again for the information, it is greatly appreciated

          cheers

            Yep, a well worn W&L.
