Preferably, I suppose, but I have a lot of unmarked EKII's with packets that I feel are just as desirable and historical as a marked cross. I guess it all depends on what you're wanting in your collection. Every Iron Cross, to me, is a piece of history, and that's what I'm all about.
Building a bank of numbered crosses is very hard these days, especially if you turn away the unmarked bagged examples.
