For what is it worth the piece is in my opinion pre 1945.

    Cheers.

My apologies. I value this forum and didn't mean to come across as impatient. I appreciate any feedback that members more knowledgable then I can provide. I am going to be away on business for several days and was excited to share. I am going to be without internet access for three days... Weird how the technology gets under your skin, kinda like cell phones...seems I lived just fine without one for years, now I feel naked without one.

Hi Alex ...Here's an interesting thread on Juncker DKiG's and some fantastic pictures showing all the flaws to look for.

I do not like the date and catch on this one, seems wrong to me when compared to Gordons.
Also the mm is under the pin, but I am not sure if that means something?

Even though Juncker's are not that common ..the fingerprints are still the best way to lock them in. The 2 threads I posted the links for have detailed photos of what to look for ....that #9 (in the date) was the first "red flag" I noticed ...it was downhill from there.

Yup , we're still going strong ! ...you guys will have to come back up for Dinner in the Mess Hall again.
I also saw your other post with that S&L DKiS ..Weren't these the ones you showed me a year ago ? (DKiS & this DKiG) ..I still think they'd be fine to pin on a Uniform for display use only. They are nice looking repros.

                        Mike,

thanks for digging out the two threads! Especially the first one is very good and deeply amusing!

Juncker are actually very easy to spot, and I don't mean the reverse.
