Help with German Eagle Cross

I've read a lot of posts on this board and am definitely in the presence of some very sharp folks. I'm hoping I can get some assistance on identifying a particular cross that I have.

I researched online and found it to be a variation on the Order of the German Eagle and thanks to a site (ww2awards.com) I was directed to this forum.

I know it's a repro but would like to know if anyone knows anything else about it, any assistance would be much appreciated

The first image shows the front of the cross, the second shows the reverse side, and the third shows a detail of the number under the clasp.

Politcal and tinnly forum

As this was not a award given to german nationals.

It was given for political reasons to forien persons. Henry Ford and Charles Lindbergh for example where given some level of this award.

Though the version with swords for given for military merit.
