Looks like a good Otto Klein of Hanau produced DKiG, maker '134'.

Thanks, I haven't bought it yet, but having done a search on '134' I've been somewhat put off, I hadn't realised that there were very good fakes of this maker out there! I am not experienced enough with DKs to risk it. This seemed to good too be true at the price $1650.00 (from a dealer as well).

Just to be absolutely certain can you post, or obtain, any closer in shots of the front and reverse head on ?

I like it, and think this one is ok. The price though, is very cheap against what I would expect to pay from a dealer over in the UK or Europe. A DKiG like this would be around the £1200GBP mark from a dealer, which according to todays exchange rate is about $2200USD.

I've also had a look in Gordon Williamsons 'The Iron Cross of 1939', pages 204 & 205 where a '134' marked DKiG is shown, and this one looks like the one in Gordons book.

It was already on hold when I emailed him, I think I'll stick to looking for one from within Europe and save myself the import duty.

I would say that 1650$ is a pretty good price for such an DKiG
