    Spange zum EK2 - Any ideas of marker?

    Could anybody assist me with the maker of this spange?

        I agree with don, sorry

        It is a fake, very well done, but fake.
        They pop up very often lately, with and without mm.

          Now the refund process begins

          Dammit, this is what really kills the hobby.. Bought from a respected dealer but still turns out to be a fake..
          I am truly glad I have the help from you guys here at WAF!

            I went through the same thing with one of these marked 21. Had to send it back. Good luck.

              I have an L/4 which was sold to me as "I really don't know..." for a copy-price, and received one in a very nice grouping.
              That one was unmarked, but came from the same die.

              I hope you will be able to get your money back, usually it's not real easy......

                Hallo J******248;rgen.
                As Don say, these fakes can be marked 21. The space between the wings and head is much larger on the right side compared with the left side (looking at the obverse). Below is a photo of two of this type of fake. The right one is marked 21 in a box. The left one has a different marking that can not be seen correctly. According to my files that one is marked L/4 or L4. Note how "dirty" they are. I have more examples if you need.
