OK................Just one more time for me, please.

When would have been the EARLIEST that an LDO-marked EK I would have been purchased for wear ? Mid 1940 ? Never mind the regulations......When did the first maker-marked EK appear in the War ?

Yes, the earliest PKZ-number I could trace so far was March 44. But there could be earlier.
