Which one? With Swords or Without?

The KVK1 w/ Swords looks ok, the KVK 1st w/o swords is a Floch fake.

I am glad I told you to put it up for review; I thought it was a Floch but I couldn't be sure without the help of others.

I told you to also put that EK_2 spange up for review but I believe everything else is ok from your site.

You previously asked me what a "Floch" was in the other thread........this is the last name of the guy who produced these reproductions. Hope this helps.

Strange how things work out. When I was collecting back in the 80's (I used work in fallingbostel germany) I was doubtfull about the KVK1 with swords but not the KVK without swords !!!!!. The only plus point being back then it did not cost to much oh and you were right about the EK2 spange also a fake. To be honest that was one of the reasons I gave up collecting and just put my collection in storage. It did not help when I heard a top hamburg auction house which I had been to twice was fined for selling copies!!. Silly question what do you do with your fakes/flochs crush them or what. The way I feel at the moment I could get an angle grinder to the KVK & Spange not to mention the two shops where I bought the things!!!! To be honest though if I had not joined this great forum I would never had known and fallen for a floch. It would be nice if there were examples of good & bad MM's. side by side so as to compare.

Kim,

You are not a fool and many people have been burned by them. No, that is not a silly question; why don't you scratch FAKE into the reverse of the Spange and KvK_1 w/o swords. This would prevent somebody else from getting taken on them in case they ever leave your hands.
