    Grossmann & Co. EK2

    Calling for your help!

Does anyone here have (or think they have) an EK2 by Grossmann & Co. Wien. ?

I have one in the packet and never really looked at it that much until today. Is it me or are the arms less curved than normal? Also note, it has the really small ring.

Only the packet is marked which had me thinking is it really a Grossmann?

Can you show pics of your example?

    Another pic to follow.

      Hello

I don't, unfortunately have a Grossman, maker '11', but there is one shown on page 71 of Gordon Williamsons book, 'The Iron Cross of 1939'. This shows the full front of the cross and a close in shot of the makers mark on the ring. It's pretty difficult from the photo in Gordons book, even using magnification etc, to see if it is a match for yours but there are some similarities in the beading - but I'm not 100% certain it is a match.

      Regards
      David

The cross doesn't look like my mm11.
I will try to get my Grossmann posted.

          Regards,

Damn, that's the problem with unmarked crosses in issue envelopes... they get so easily switched that you don't know which one should go where!?

Thanks for your help. I'd still like to see that 11 marked EK2 if possible.

              Hold on for the EK2.
It takes some time because I still have to ask an other member till my membership is activated.

              Regards,

Thanks Ben/Luud and everyone else that replied. Well at least now I know which maker the EK2 is.
