    Hi,

this Wiederholungsspange zum EK 1. Klasse was offered to me. Because i don't know much about the characteristics of the Wiederholungsspangen i would be grateful for each assistance and opinion whether the Spange is original or a copy.

    Regards

It does appear to be an original Deumer made piece.

Agreed, Deumer made one, but i never saw them with a steel (?) needle.

              Hi,

the needle was the point which made me a little bit confused.
Thanx a lot for your opinion.

              Regards

                Hello

Definitely a Deumer, L/11 model. My opinion, from what I can see in the pictures, is that the hinge and pin have been replaced at some point - hence the discolouration around the hinge and the to the top front part of the spange. Beyond that it's an original piece.

                Regards
                David

I looks like a bad soldering job, hence the discoloration.
It looks like too much heat has been used, soldering the hinge back in place.
