    B. H. Mayer (26) made both EK1 and EK2, and the EK2 is quite desirable

    Kind regards,

        ek2 mm26

In viewing different pics on the forum and internet I fail to see the differences between a marked 25 & 26 even the numbers could pass as the same. Can anyone shead some light on this for me.
        Thanks

Not having a "26" (nor have I ever seen one), I can't do an in-hand comparison with my two "25s". The example linked to above does look much like my "25s" with the possible difference being that the inner corners of the beading appear more rounded on the alleged "26" than on my "25s". (I'd like to see the maker mark on it.)

Sorry George I can't copy the pic of the 26and can't see enough detail on the inner corners, thought all the details on both the 25 & 26 are really close. jump ring, outer corner detail, and swaz shape. I can't help thinking that the 26 Im looking at is mismarked and is really a 25. I hope Im right because I thinking of letting it go this would be a huge loss if its really a 26.
            Thanks

                I know only EK II's with maker's mark L/18.
I have never seen an EK II with maker's mark 26.

                  Hi!

As GrĂ¼ni i never saw a 26 marked EK2. I think it give only L/18 marked pieces.

Here is an other example. This pictures are from this forum but i cannot find the thread.

                  Regards
                  Andreas
