Use a support for the camera. Use best quality settings on the camera, and crop/cut away most of the background. If you have a macro function on the camera, use that.

Take detail pictures of the front, back, hinge and catch.
That will make it a whole lot easier to determine if the EK is a genuine piece :-)

I would say that this one is genuine, but a closer inspection would be required. However, if the price was right, I would take a chance on this one.
