KVK1 w/swds, who can name the maker?

I just got this piece in from Detlev today. Does anyone have any ideas of who this maker is?

          Hi Robert,

I believe this is a #50 Karl Gschiermeister Wien, but don't pin me on it.

          Cheers, Thomas

ps. I just did a search on the forum and couldn't find any KVKI with swords marked 50 and the one without swords have a different pin. So I think you better wait for someone with more knowledge on KVK's.

          Good luck!

            An unmarked 43.

Yep Frank is right #43 Julius Bauer Sohne Zella Mehlisi/Thur.

              50 was a typo, I meant 43

              Cheers, Thomas

The pin is a typical 43 style..

                  Thank you gentlemen,

I know it's an effort on your part to help me search this out. I really appreciete it. I'm just beginning to understand a little about the combat badges like the IAB, GAB, EK's and KVK's. I spent a lot of time collecting them but never getting to the grass roots of who made them and all of their characteristics. Ask me about most of the Luftwaffe qualification badges, and we can have a conversation. I'm just learning that there are a lot more makers of these combat badges than any of the Luft. qual. badges. I'm really enjoying these badges.

                  Thanks again

                  Robert

                    I think it's an unmarked 43
