EKII die flaws?

Looking at this EK the first thing I see are numerous flaws in the frame beading. It looks as if the frame was double-stamped, or the beading is just from a poor die. Any ideas? And the swasi is poorly cast, flaws also. Is there a known maker where these irregularities exist always?

I've seen that "double-stamped" beading flaw in a few EK 2s. I haven't yet connected the trait with any specific maker, though.

Look´s ok to me also, and about die flaws. The worst ive ever seen was a 7 markt EK2 i did have some time ago, it was so uggly i sold it.

Check your 55's, I believe this is a trait some of them display.

Yes, I too believe this to be an unmarked '55'. The worn and broken dies really played havok on the beading, and the swastika is deformed a bit too. In time all things eventually break down.
