I don't like it, for a couple of reasons. First, the numbers don't strike me as "German". Just my feeling. Second, -edit...closer looked changed that!- end of edit. If it was all done at once, I don't see why there'd be differences. And third, it's just too clean. Nothing in the engraving.

All things I can't prove, but without rock-solid provenance, I wouldn't pay any extra for it.

There are no documents, only a story behind the cross.

Not enough to spend so much money.
