As promised, here is the issued set of Oak leaves that were aguired at a motel buy and I was fortunate enough to end up with them.

              Ron,

some better pictures (close ups) are needed to say something.

                Dietrich,

Not sure my camera (or my skill) can get anything better than these.

                Ido welcome suggestions:

You might want to take it off of the red background material, and put it on something neutral. The silver absorbs some of the red and causes the silver to tone to it. Daylight is the best shot you'll get. Sometimes the wrong indoor lighting turn silver yellow. A gray, tan or light blue background works well outdoors. Not in the direct sunlight, but just out of the sun.

Case is nice, with the subdued greyish lid lining and insert border. The oaks themselves look promising, but better high-res shots of the front would be needed to pick out the fine detail to confirm an original piece.

                        Robert and Harry,

Thank you for the advice. I will try this.

                          Dietrich, Robert & Harry,

Tried again on different background. Hope this works. If not may have to try my daughter's camera.

These should be good as they came from the vet's widow at a motel buy with a cased KC and the oakleaves & swords in the case with the KC and acased DK in gold. I got them from the man who bought them. An incredible opportunity.

                          Best regards,

                          RonR

                              Ron,

from what I can see they are ok.
