ko makers mark

was offered a ek2 today in good caondition is proper three part construction only thing has a makers mark on ko on the loop is this a proper mm if it is who is it for was under the impression all mmm where numbers

I always tought KO was an Imperial maker of EK's, not ones from 1939.

yeh found lots of reference for imperial crosses but none for 1939 ones did they make 1939 crosses as this one looks good but if they didnt then it must be a fake and what company used this mark ?

In the beginning some parts for eks came from existing stocks left over from making the ww1 awards. You really need to show some pics to determine anything.
