    What's wrong with this picture?

Maybe I need my eyes examined.

I'm no expert, but isn't there something REALLY SCREAMINGLY wrong with this EK1? It just sold on Manions as the real thing.

Can't say I notice anything off hand.
Looks like it could be a Souval piece. The back could tell a different story though!

The frame is similar to Souvals, but not the core. Those numbers sure look off, though.

the 1939 is way off, and it isnt core shifting-the swaz is dead center.

Notice the weird patina, and I use that term loosely. It isnt right for an EK. The whole cross has a worn out look to it, but check out the core paint. Not even a scratch on the swaz.

In my opinion, this is fake, and has went through some feeble attempt at fake aging.

manions selling a fake? No, it cant be! (sarcasm intended)

In the picture below, I have put another EK1 jpg on top of the first one and made it 50% transparent. Check out that date.

The interesting part is that this L15 resembles more the original L15 shown in GordonĀ“s new book than the obvious Floch copy. The only thing I miss are the rounded corners.

                      Yes, Frank is correct.

The catch shown on this is diffrent from those typically seen on the Floch fakes. This catch does look like the one Gordon shows.
