    I hear you Bob. My RK came with some papers from an Oberst (school stuff and an exercise notebook) and I'm sure with a decent pic I could confirm or deny whether the items are linked. Paul Seyffardt, born 1894, alive 1958. Generalleutant 1.1.43. Taken prisoner as CO 348 Inf Div September 1944, KCIC and GCiG. Especially looking for photos as an Oberst or right after he made General.

      A very, very nice set!!!
      It must be very hard to try to identify a holder on the ribbon.
      IMO it´s likely that they changed ribbons during the years.
      I think that Detlev Niemann had a Zimmermann cross with OL and Swords for sale about eight to ten years ago, but I think the OLs were marked L/50.
