Well, the "Crosses" forum is fast approaching 10,000 posts. Given the fairly narrow scope of this forum (compared to the Imperial, War/Qualification Badges, and die Kneipe Forums, all of which have already surpassed the 10K mark), that is quite an impressive achievement! And it proves yet again (as if it were necessary) that the "Crosses of the Wehrmacht" (and especially those EKs!) are by far the most interesting and important of all German military decorations of all time!

Yes! I really like this forum. And it has already (or thanks to the fellows being around here) saved me from keeping a repro OLs set (L/12) in my collection. It all went OK and I got my money back.
Specially thanks to Gordon Williamson in this very case.

This is absolutely the best forum where we discuss all the REAL awards, we don’t need to sniff or lick yucky zinkee awards or be blinded by all that glitzy enamel that the Imperial boys cherish. When an Iron Cross matches all the original characteristics you know it is the real deal.

George where is that pic of all your EK’s, I think I need my fix.

I would have to agree , as a newer member it quenches my thirst for knowledge, and increases my enjoyment and appreciation for my own items, and marvel at other peoples pride and joys.

Something previously lacking and unavailable to me before I joined, Im very impressed with the way this forum treats new less experienced collectors
