All three at West Point had the cases when they were confiscated from the vet who brought them back. if the cases have 'gone missing' from West Point, wouldn't that be ironic?
Well, mine does have the case. I guess I value it more than West Point...wait a minute, I PAID the vet for mine!!!!!

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

When I was a younger man and had much mor desire to find it all, I, with my partner Jeff Roth, managed to find 3 of them by tracking down members of the engineering company who captured Schloss Kleissheim. I got a 4th from a walk-in at a militaria show, where everyone wanted to cheat the young man who owned it. I just told him what it was worth and what I could pay. Simple, that being fair, paid off. I kept the most perfect piece and the other's are in private collections.

A breathtaking set of badges guys - thanks for sharing them.
I must say I'm amazed at the crudeness of the Rath mark on the pin in post 5; looks like the letters were individually tapped in with a small flat-head screwdriver. Not what I would expect from an otherwise magnificent piece of quality workmanship.
