opinions ek2 please

Dear fellow collectors,
I would like to hear your opinions about a EK2 recently bought, as I'm not really an expert on this subject.
It is an unmarked piece, with magnetic core, in very good condition. It came with ribbon (that seems to be very new...maybe too much? ) and packet of issue, marked Walter&Heinlein Gablonz.

I can´t see anything I dislike.

A clean, new looking EK2 ribbon is not unusual, since the truely worn and dirty, weathered ribbons were sewn to uniforms. What we have on our EKs now is either "awarded" ribbon which was tucked away with the not worn EK2 or ribbon that was applied by somebody at some stage in time from the huge stocks of original EK2 ribbon that survived the war. The ribbon could very well be ok, I have most of my EK2 on minty ribbons.

Modern EK2 ribbon feels strangely synthetic and the white part (of most modern ones) will glow electric bright blue under a black light.
