Go for the obverse! Beading characteristics and core-numerals. As George said, pin systems have been exchanged, repaired and so on.

I venture to say it is a Schauerte & Höhfeld (L/54).

Please have a look at the date, is is the typical "an block" stamp with a recognisable flattened numbers at the top, especially the first 9.
