Hey fuser, to know it is a Meybauer, you have to know what the OTHER crosses look like. The W&L, the Zimmerman, the deumer, and all others. Some of them are easy to see, some are difficult. It is only a matter of taking the time to see how the beading is, the numbers, the pin, and more.

Like anything else: practice, practice, practice.

Thanks for your reply hank, but not helpfull at all, i dont understand why not know that it is a W&L, zimmerman, deumer, etc, knowing how a Meaybauer looks.
I think that a base of this hoby is if you have a doubt then ask, and learn (like the life), and if you have the knowledge then pass it, (one of the reasons of the forums)
and thats exactly what i want to LEARN

        Okay, look here:
        http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/iron...ironcross1.htm

Read everything. Then go to dealers sites, the ones that have the links here at the bottom of each page. Look at the EK1s at those sites, and how they look, and the ones that are labeled.
Then, go through the forum here, and read about all the threads about EK1s. THEN try buying one, from an honest source - there are a lot of threads about honest dealers here.
Honestly, we can't open your head and pour in knowledge. YOU have to put it in, one piece at a time.
It isn't easy, but you are the only one who can do it. And it won't happen in 1 or 2 days, or one thread on the forum.
        JUST DON'T GIVE UP!
