Opinions on this Knight's Cross Real or Fake?

    Unbelievable-it's now US $1,126.00 for this 'Knights Cross'.

    For the very few who haven't encountered it before,it's a classic so-called Latvian made piece and this type of fake cross does display nicely-from the front.
    It's junk but is quite heavy and is finished well for a repro but should be worth no more than a couple of hundred bucks imo.

    Shame on the seller...

            I'm not trying to rock the boat here I'm trying to learn-- What about this cross tells you its an out and out fake. Of course I cant see the front but it looks like a descent fake to me . Again let me say I'm not very good in this field and would like some explaination to all the slander so we can all be better prepaired the next time we go to these "flea markets". Any info would be great!!

              It is not slander. It is facts. The piece is a known fake and wrongly designed. As with most fakes it has a story to go with it. Do you still think it is slander after checking this site: http://www.thirdreich.ca/museumcopies.php

                A good idea would be to search this forum and read earlier posts about – those and other – KCs/KC fakes.
                That way the same people don´t have to repeat themselves over and over again over the same fakes turning up every now and then.
