    I hope that you're wrong too.
    Maybe worth mentioning, the EK1 is dirty, the dust is in the places where you would expect it (between the legs of the swastika and in the 'corners' of the cross. The backside has the same look as an normal EK1, the silver has blackened.
    Also the other pieces of this lot are original as well. A possible explanation can be that the EK1 was not original to this grouping.
    Could it be a one piece construction? since it's an 'early' awarded EK1?

    Hope some others will give their opinion on this one as well, or would it be wise to start a new thread discussing this EK1?

      Can you see any evidence of the cross being soldered together, to show that it is 3 piece construction? Or is it 1 piece? You should also be able to tell looking for space between the frame and the core.

        I cannot see traces of soldering Hank, there's also no space visible between the core and frame.

            for me the EK 1 is an fake because the needle system is nothing what I know.
