    EK2 Need help

Offered for nothing but the ring in my opinion is fake and the ribbon is suspicious. Award itself looks OK but the price is anyway 40 EUR so what do you think?

Might be okay, but hard to tell because the pictures are a little fuzzy. Why do you think the ring is fake?

is it a 3piece construction with magnetic core?

The centre is stuck if you mean this. Im quite new and would like to know what you call a magnetic center.

the EK is made from 3 pieces, the core (black metal with the swaztika ans year) is made from iron, so it has to be magnetic
you best test this with a magnetic
there is also a little space between the core and the frame, you can slide a piece of paper between them
you better read this first on the mainpage, it will help you a lot

just follows your guts, if you dont like it, you better leave it alone

Now its clear. But still thinking its OK and its quite heavy. The center is non magnetic and the ring is magnetic. Wich kind of pictures would help us? Thanks!

                          Thanks for reply!
The ring is very small and narrow so one couldnt eaven put a makers mark on it but the frame is made from copper (reddish) and shows some wear(maybe somebody wanted to look like this). Non magnetic and as one wing is a little bit out of shape its not moving and in my opinion its not three piece. Just learning and thanks. Should I take it anyway?

These rings are also found on some original crosses. If it isn't soldered together, maybe it was a replacement. But otherwise it might be original. I have one or two EKs with this thin ring.

Chances are this is a good cross. Like before, better pictures would say for sure!

I have a few thin rings, and a round 3 with an unsoldered ring. Charlie
