    RK Filler Piece?

What do you guys think of this as a filler? I have a friend who is looking and definitely can't afford the real deal at the moment.

    Too much??

In my opinion tell your friend to be patient and look for an early Souval fake.

Don't want to start an old debate but...
Save up and buy the real deal.

            Hi Jim,

Long time since we spoke. I hope that everything is going well with you.

I have to agree with Nate, your friend can beter buy nothing then a fake piece.

I also don't understand that it ended at 720 dollars!!!! It looks nothing like the real deal.

            All the best,

            Thomas

Have your friend buy a post-war S&L RK. Like I have. Because we all know here that it is almost impossible to rationally afford a real war-time RK. Here are pics on my S&L RK that is a good quality RK (post-war speaking), and won't cost you an arm and a leg. A S&L RK goes for around $500-$3,000 (please remeber this is a REAL Knights Cross from war-time stock, just made post war).

              For Example:

              My Post-War S&L Type "B" 935 RK

                Filler RK

                Panzerman,

Glad you are well. I gave up on the copies. I bought an S&L post war because that is the limit I could afford...ever. everyone is right, there really isn't anything like it.

I would check out http://www.philipp-militaria.de/en_agb.html. They have what appears to be a very nice copy. I would buy it if I didn't already have a Latvian.

Hope things are well old friend!
I have to agree with Peter.
The early Souval copies are collectible in their own right.
I wouldn't give a plugged nickel for the Latvian crap.

                      Hey Guys,

Thanks for the hellos and the replies.

I'll pass on the info. I told him that I also would save up for the real deal, but his current situation will probably not allow the purchase of a real (war time) RK. The S&L is a good solution.

                      Thanks to all!!
