Hi all, I have an opertunity to buy this cross you see here. The lady is asking around $100. Is it authentic, should I buy it???? I know very little about medals, so I will leave this one up to you guys. I asked for more Pics, I'll try and post 'em when they arrive.

This cross is an Imperial WW1 EK. As such you need to post it in the Imperial Cross section - you will get a better response from the Imperial guys.
That said, you really need to get better, closer in pictures. From what I can make out, and after enhancing your pictures a bit, I can't see anything that sets alarm bells ringing. Based on what I can make out I think this one is ok - but I would recomend getting better photos and posting them before buying.
Price wise I would say, based on UK dealer prices, that $100 USD is expensive. I pay on average £35 UKP, or about $65 USD, for a WW1 EK2.

Look around on the estand. You can get good deals on 1914 EK2's. I think they are one of the better bargains of this hobby right nowComment
