1939 EK1 opinions

Hello Everyone,
I know nothing about Iron crosses, thats why I am asking for your help. I would like to own one 1939 EK1. Its got to be a "one looker". How does this cross look to you guys? It is unmarked, what is the probable maker? And last, is a brass pin and catch Okay?

There are a number of ways:
1. Frame
2. Core
3. Pin
4. Catch
5. Most importantly, but most often overlooked - lots of study!
