Hi, new to this I have been looking at the pictures listed of the 65 maker marked crosses I note that one shows a boxed cross belonging to Sebastian this cross appears to have a more matt finish to the others shown does anyone know why.

They were made a couple years apart possibly, paint wasn't exactly the same. Maybe they have been stored differently. Maybe somebody tried cleaning one or the other. Different photography even, perhaps.

Thanks for your thoughts,I have seen both types and although the backs appear to be identical the front of the matt one does not seem as sharp this may just be down to the finish Sebastian has both in his collection his thoughts would be interesting.
