    Hi mdj,

first i'll say that it's a very nice cross.
The differences between both manufacturers are not large. That makes it heavy differentiating both without good photos from different focuses.

The most important pictures would be one good from obverse and a very sharp from the date and a picture of the inside of the beading from the top of the 12 o'clock arm and the same of the 6 o'clock arm.

I slope to assign it to the manufacturer Godeth but it is not an opinion which one can see as fact.

Maybe one of the experts can say more without other pics.

I would need the pics i wrote above for saying more.

    Regards
    Andreas

      maybe

      Hello,

FROM the reverse I would say L/52 or a Zimmerman marked 20.

            Hi,

could anybody may tell me the signs which shows that it's for sure a Zimmerman.
I havn't an example for a Godeth EK 1 in my collection ("only" an EK 2) and not much in my database and as you can see it in my posting i didn't found anything that shows me the difference.

I am grateful over each help.

            Regards
            Andreas

thank you very much for the quick and informative response. You helped me a lot and one can see that one part of collecting is learning till the end.

And here is my judge. That is a Zimmerman or a Godet, i do have both off them and i cant to this day say a way to find that its a Godet that is a Zimmer. My teory is that Godet did get his EK´s or part´s from Zimmerman, and there is no from what i know a real 21 markt EK1. Only L/50
