Deschler & Sohn EK1

Hello all, I found this cross and decided to give it a go. Retains most of it's frosting and is in great condition. I know there is some controversy surrounding these, and the high silver content frame should be darker. It is up to owners of Deschler crosses to enlighten me as I have done research where I could. All opinions apprecciated.

Hi Miki,

I have not found anything which disturbed me . Everything looks, as it should.

If you take a look at the example from the data base you will recognize that the obverse frame come from the same die.
You can see per example the individuial form of the beading in the corners i marked on the pic of your piece. It' exactly the same frame.

Normaly my belly feeling dosn't deceive me and in this case i have a good feeling.

Thanks for looking guys, I was concerned because all of the deschler ek1"s I have seen have darkened silver frames. I have never seen a deschler with the frosting still present on the frame.

nice Deschler EK1.... The obverse frame is a bit bended...so the swaz is a bit lower than obverse frame...looks good and ....Congrats
