As a newbie to this area of the forum and having very little knowledge of the crosses I would appreciate some help on this one. I have done the magnet test and the center is magnetic while the edge is not. I do see some separation of the two sides--about 20% of the edge. It measures 46mm across and weighs approx. 20 gm. The ribbon ring is stamped with a 93 and this is the only marking on the cross or rings. The ribbon is perfect except for some very minor age darkening. Assuming the light metal is silver, should it be cleaned or left alone? Would welcome any comments. Thanks Tomt

Hi George It appears both are from the same producer. But as I said I'm working from a "blank slate" as far as any knowledge of the cross. What do I have? Good, bad, or ugly? Thanks Tomt
