    Attach ribbon to my EK2

This might seem silly, but can anyone inform me of a good procedure for "attaching" the ribbon to an EK2 (or other medals for that matter). I have an EK2 and KVK that I bought with the ribbon seperately packed and I just don't seem to get it right.
    Much obliged!

I never like to change anything....

If the ribbons are separately packed, I'd just leave them that way.

Perhaps you're right, it's just that I wanted it done for display purposes.

An old recipe of my mothers..

Squeeze in the section with arrows as shown in figure 'A', and fold ribbon back on itself so it looks like figure 'B'.

Place heavy weight on top of fold and allow to settle for a day.

        Best served cold.

Just remember, anytime you put a mint ribbon through a medal ring, it will leave a mark on the ribbon that can't be removed. If I get a mint medal, ribbon and packet, or a cased medal with separate ribbon in the top compartment, I leave them alone. That keeps them as mint examples. If I have a separate, worn medal, of course I put a ribbon (equally worn) through the ring. There is nothing more frustrating than finding a mint cased or packeted medal for sale that the seller has "stuck" the original mint ribbon through the ring for the hell of it.

Thanks all for your imput! The EK2 isn't in what I'd call mint condition, but perhaps I'll leave it as it is and just attach the ribbon to a KVK.
