What is Generealy a better EK1 Maker/Cross?

What is a generally a better cross a 26 Mark or an L/16? They guy wants $420 for a 26 Mark and $320 for the L/16. Which one should I get or is the deal worth it? These are EK1s without the case.

Well, do you prefer a "store bought" cross or a awarded cross? Also, what condidtion are these two crosses in?

I perfer awarded and they are both in N-mint. The 26 Mark has never been polished. The L/16 has never been polished and has a very black tone to it.

i would prefer the L/16 cross because they are rarer than the "26".

Of course i don't know the production numbers to compare that exactly but i take the current German market as yardstick.

In the last two years only 3 L/16 crosses were offered

In the same period a lot of "26"mm crosses were offered

But that is only one fact.

I advise you to buy that cross you better pleases.

Can you may post pictures off the offered crosses.

300€ for an uncased "26" is not cheap and 230€ for the L/16 is the normal market price.

In the end we cannot help you really.
