Hello,

at the first glance it seems to be good BUT on the second glance sadly no.
Date does not match to the genuine one and the pin with its hindge I have never seen before on an EK1 Schinkel.

I agree with Franki Idont like the look of it
The beading does not look right to me especially on the inner corners the finnish isnt like an original, but that is only my opinion

Are there Shinkel EK_1's with that kind of hinge/catch setup?

Hello!

Yes, the second one is ok. It was awarded to Konteradmiral Hans-Joachim Gadow 13th of November 1938 and is an EK of an early type.
I've sent it down to Detlev for a certificate and it was nothing wrong with it.
