Please tell me if these two crosses are real or fake. The EK 1 is one piece non magnetic. The EK 2 is three piece made. Thanks.

i know the maker of that ek1
the factory stands in afganistan i dont know the exact place
i know this ek1 becouse i have a friend who is dealing in this wo2 axis and allies stuf
so i can easaly check from whitch maker comes a fake
[new repro`s from england whitch are 3 piece`s and silver these are still made whit the original stamp from out of the wo2
these medals have a handcrafted finish
these so cold new repro`s are being made sinds 1970/80 so watch out whit ek1 ek2 and the german knightscross and other 3 or 4 piece medals/awards]

Hi,
I have never seen an EK2 with the ring soldered in such a way, i.e. on the top of the frame rather than into the sides of it, is this a way to identify Wachtler and Lange EK2's?

you can see the lines in the sides
you only have to put the ek2 on its side and have a look if there is a line in the middle of the silver finish
if that is so you can have a original one
but after a closer look i have my doub about its originality
because the silver is to fat in places were it mant to be thin
