Spanish Cross in Bronze with Swords - Opinions Please

OK Guys - The Silver version I purchased has met with disapproval from a couple of you at the moment and I will certainly be returning it if that is the case but I would welcome more input from others if possible.<p>Here is the Bronze version I also purchased recently from the same dealer - I would welcome your opinions on this one as to its originality. Many Thanks - Dave.

not that sure, can you take some close ups of the marking, eagles, hook and a side view, please - far from thinking it is a good one on the first approach

I'm with Jacques. I could entertain some doubts about this one. Would like to see some closeup pictures. best wishes,

Not what I'd expect to see for the maker mark.

I agree the maker mark looks suspect to me. Although if fake it is a well done one. Closer pics please.

                  Best, Sal

                    Hi,
As I said you on PM, I'm not comfortable with that cross.
                    - First of all, at the first look, I don't like the general form, color, age ton, but it could be the result of the picture and light.
                    - the eagles are slightly different from known originals
                    - the pin's form
                    - the MM is different
that make too many. these crosses MM CEJ were the first to be manufactured as early as 1939 until the LDO institution. Too many differences are not acceptable or at least suspicious.
Considering the previous remarks and the provenience, you should pass on it.
Here is a comparison with an original.

Just look at the swaz of the discussed piece. The arms are attached to eachother by a very fine line on the base. The known original has not got that line. The makermark is absolutely different, as is the catch of the badge.
