Certainly not an original in the sense of 'licensed by the Praesidialkanzlei' as a possible award.

Are the oak's dished out or flat on the back?

I wonder what difference that could possibly make considering a visually evident post war reproduction...poor at that

First time I see some Souval oakleave with the back like that. Its still got the left sword pommel (sp?) flaw though.

The same Collector also had a Fake U-Boot awards marked "Schwerin" and a Fake "Combo" marked "L/11" .

Both ribbon and oaks are junk

                          Cheers.

Well I guess some of us were not blessed with all the knowledge from the RK god, and want to confirm something before they open their gob

Laurence, one sounds like a 'gob-****e' when the evidence is obvious!

Clearly, the swords are attached at the hilts, the ribbon is post war and it's marked L/58 (Souval)!

I don't mind opening my gob but think for just a moment prior....

I do enjoy a contradictive opinion though...

Now, looking at the entire picture what are your thoughts on this item?
                              Regards,
