                  I agree...you've made a very nice 'entry' into the EK realm!

                  And if you look very closely at the beading on the rim, you'll probably see some die flaws that I think are present to varying degrees on most S&L crosses, most noticable on the 9 o'clock arm.

                  Here's an example from my '4' marked EKII...

                            i want another one now fingers crossed a cased convex ek1 maybe coming my way they are even nicer i think than the standard ones...., tim you are also right about the flaw in my cross its just like yours , did S&L not realise at the time about this flaw in their cross???
                            these crosses add the finnishing touch to a collection!! so gents a question who made the best "if there is such a thing" ek1
