Anybody ever saw this mark on an EK I

    Hi Guys,

Not sure what to think about this.

Today an EK I arrived but before showing the entire cross I wanted to share a strange mark I found on the inside of the pin. Just checked my files and couldn't find anything similar.

    So here are my questions

    1. Is this a mark?
    2. If so which maker used it?
    3. Am I the only one that can distinguish something that looks like a "4" in the right circle?

    Many txs in advance

    KR
    Philippe

Is it a variation of this type of marking? (here an L/59)

              hi philippe,

your cross must be an orth L/14 piece....

                Hi Stefan,

Well you seem rather sure about this mark. Would it be a 1 and a 4 in those circles or are they just empty punch marks. Made more pics and tried to clean those areas but to no avail, I can't recognize any numbers.

Here is the entire cross I'm sure you guys will be able to recognize this even with the catch repaired.

Txs to everybody for his input.

                    hi philippe.

                    it is a L/14 indeed.

i have seen 2 of them yet, all with the souval frame. i don't know what these markings mean but they are for sure no numbers.

i only mentioned L/14 because i not ecspect everybody to know what "orth" means.

                        sorry if i confused you,
