While the hinge appears very similar, I have doubts about the pin itself. MIght be the angle or size of the pix.
Sounds like we're about 50/50 on "caution" or "early". For $400, you might want to try another cased cross.
Or, if you are okay with it, go for it. In the end, it's up to you!

I think I am going to purchase the cross because the seller has told me he will give me a life time guarantee of the authenticity and will do a legal written contract signed by both him and me.

Does that sound good??? Cause I like the cross and it looks pretty authentic but I wanted to get your guys judgements first, and you all are pretty 50/50 so I guess I am going to get it with a legal written contract.

Does this one look better than the first one?

DO YOU LIKE THIS ONE BETTER THAN THE FIRST ONE AS A SAFER CROSS? BOTH ARE FOR $400.

            Hi,

i would take the secon cross, bevause that's fore sure genuine.
But that is my own opinion!

If the first cross is your favorite and if you have a life time guarantee of the authenticity You cannot make anything wrong.

For me the Zimmermann looks pretty nice and is apiece that will surely looks fine in your collection.

            Regards
            Andreas

Ya I purchased the Fritz Zimmermann Eisernes Kreuz Erste Klasse. Do you think it is at a good price? Thanks.

You did well choosing the second EKI.

No damage that needs to be fixed and better eye appeal IMO.

If you wish to sell it in the future you will not have to explain anything about it. I believe it to be a better choice of the two.
