    Pieter!

Thank you! Which parts to you need next to each other? The whole crosses, or just the swastika or just the dates? What will work best for your explanation?

My thoughts would be to concentrate on the date numerals, I'm sure that's where the most obvious differences will lie.

I agree - if it's only the cores that are different, dates and swaz are the only relevant areas.

It would really help if you guys with the rarer ones (dots, unmagnetic, micro 2's..) could do as George has done and crop your images so the dates are as large and in focus as possible before you post them..

It would also help (me) if you mentioned whether they are flat or vaulted as well...

                  cheers

                            ...thank you Dietrich,
to my information we should have 4 different cores, one frame type and 3 paint types , 4 types of rings.
Won't be able to reply for the week-end as I'm right to leave for Kube's Aution in germany.
Post your opinions to my statements, thanks Pieter

                              Call me confused...

Why doesn't Pieter just take photos of his own crosses and post them?

I believe this is called the SOCRATIC method, or perhaps now the Verbruggen Gambit...
