Hi guys-
Here is a recent addition that I just got around to photographing. It’s a cased L/50 that was part of a grouping I recently added to my collection. It’s in nice, honest, worn condition with a beautiful patina, and with the exception of some rust bubbles on the right arm of the core I’m quite happy with it.
When I purchased the group, the seller had stated that the EK1 was a L/52, so upon receiving it I was a bit disappointed to find that it was in fact a Godet and not the Zimmermann I was expecting. Not that I have any anything against Godet’s (love 'em) but I had been looking for a cased Zimmer and paid accordingly
Honest mistake on the sellers part, and he immediately offered to take it back. I feel I overpaid a bit, but since it is part of a very nice grouping which came directly from the vet’s family (and I will never break up groups) I have decided to keep it.
Any and all comments are appreciated.
Thanks!
Rob
