    Help with Spange

A collector friend of mine has a spange for sale the asking price-$70 us. Problem is I do not know much about them. Are their different grades? Do they come with a pinback setup? Wwhat are the tell-tale signs of a fake? Any info would be appreciated since I am due to look at it in a few hours.
    Thanks,
    Mark

      Hi Mark,

I guess you´re new to this hobby or at least to the EK world.
Better pay a visit to Wehrmacht-Awards.com and have a look to the Iron Cross section.

      Regards,

      Javier.

          Hi sellers34,

By definition, a first class Spange has a pinback setup. The second class spange normally has 4 prongs on the back. $70 in any currency is very cheap for a first class spange. A quick forum search should show you some examples.
