      wreath and date---
I ddo not want to try bending the pins to take it off the ribbon for a scan of the back. But it does appear to be UNmarked.

      Thanks again,
      Greg

Looks good to me also Greg
also looks like it could be an unmarked L/18, which is quite an uncommon one
I'd love to see the back, but don't do anything crazy!
          regards

Thanks very much for the help

I moved the ribbon around as much as I could without bending the pins.
The piece IS unmarked. The pins are quite long--longer than the ones
on my L/13 and are square cut. not pointed.

Yeah those spanges mounted on ribbons are devils to try and peakfor maker marks. A few years back I bought an EK2 spange from Detlev. He made no mention that it was marked. When I received it ... I spent about an hour poking and prodding until I managed to make out the L/13 maker. I was quite pleased

Pins look right for an L/18.
It may/may not be stamped right in the middle of the reverse
Although I 'think' I've seen 1st class L/18s stamped extreme left of the datebox...
                anyway, nice spange, congrats!
