    Finally a cased Zimmermann DKiG

    Finally I got that long waited cased Zimmermann . I've been longing to add one to my collection for ages and the day has finally arrived. I've put down a deposit on it and took some photos, which I must say did not come out that good. I was too excited .

    Well here it is. Again sorry for te blurry shots, light conditions were not that good and I was a bit excited to concentrate on taking good shots.

            A very nice find indeed. Congratulations on really nice example of what, in my opinion, is one of the nicest looking Third Reich awards.

            Now I need to find a case to go with my Zimmerman DKiG !!

                Thanks for your kind remarks, David and Rob . I've been after a cased Zimmermann for some time now and this is a great achievement for my collection. I agree that this is the nicest looking award and thank God I could afford it

                        Congratulations on a NICE cross. When I finial was able to buy a DKiG I felt like my collection reached a higher level. The German Cross is sure a beauty.

                              Congratulations , it is indeed one of the most attractive awards from WW2.
                              Makes me think of one I parted with quite recently , hopefully I will be able buy to one again , very pleased for you Henri.
